Sean Murphy

Sean is a successful competitive shooter across multiple pistol, carbine and long-range rifle disciplines. Achievements include earning Grand Master in USPSA Production and winning several state titles, representing the United States in international F-Class competition, and many top finishes and wins across USPSA, 2-Gun, Run and Gun (RnG), carbine and precision rifle events. Sean and fellow Hornady Pro Team member Greg Hamilton have been highly successful in team precision rifle/sniper events using Hornady bullets and ammunition.

Whether at a pistol match, a Run and Gun event, a sniper/field team challenge, Precision Rifle Series competition or F-Class match, he can be found having fun shooting, enjoying the fellowship of other competitors and continuously chasing the next levels of performance.

Sean is the Training Manager for an industry-leading optics company, freelance writer and shooting instructor. He is also a hunter, having used Hornady bullets and ammunition on North American big game, varmints and African plains game with great success.
