Greg Hamilton

Greg Hamilton moved beyond the pellet rifle at the early age of 6. He has enjoyed many different forms of competitive shooting for the last 30+ years. Positional small bore competition in high school led to long range hunting, 3 gun, Precision Rifle Series and most recently long range adventure challenges.

The 6mm Creedmoor has been a staple for Greg in both the Precision Rifle Series and long range adventure challenges in a bolt action as well as the PRS Gas Gun Series. The 6mm Creedmoor has a great combination of inherent precision, very low recoil for positional shooting and stellar trajectories for unknown distance targets.

Greg works in the Research and Development Department of Proof Research. This has provided access to many of the worlds most advanced long guns and tireless resources for the pursuit of the lightest and most precise barrel for today’s warfighter and hunter. Hornady ammunition continues to play a major role in the test and evaluation of their ever evolving product.
