I have been shooting Hornady stuff forever and really never wanted to try anything else. Now to the story...

Did some horse trading, got my first AR15 so I made some loads with Hornady projectiles. 2 shots and I was on paper at 100 yards. Nikon makes a nice scope. Next 5 shots were dead on and in the 1" range. I can live with that, shooting freehand, no bench.

On the way home, walking from my range, I saw a snapping turtle at what I stepped off later to be 153 yards. Farmers hate snapping turtles after stocking ponds for years. Loaded a magazine with some 55gr V-MAX and POP. When you say explosive, boy you aren't kidding! That is exactly what his head did.
