This year I was able to fill my winter moose tag with this 40 inch bull. The hunt took place in GMU 17C and the bull was harvested just after sunrise on December 22nd. The shot was ranged at 112 yards and the ammunition was Leverevolution in my Marlin XLR .338 Marlin Express. This is my fourth moose with this gun and ammo and I couldn't be more delighted with its performance- absolutely top-notch for Alaska's moose.
