Unfortunately the closest we could get to this bull was a laser ranged 428 yards. A 225 grain Spire Point launched by a 340 Weatherby Magnum dropped him in his tracks. The load consisted of the aforementioned 225 gain 338 bullet, 87 grains of H4831, Federal 215 primer, and an R-P case. This load develops an honest 3,000 FPS.
