Too Hot

We had a warm fall this year in Western Alberta. After walking into the bush 4 or 5 miles I spotted an old tree stand, I went up and Dad went on a little west from me, ( we wouldn't have walked in this far if we knew that my older brother wasn't coming with his Side X Side ) at about noon I spotted a couple Deer in the distance after looking I saw a pretty decent buck, I watched him for about 30 mins, he went back and fourth with his doe, there was pretty all brush and he wasn't coming in any closer. I ranged him at 350 Yards, and when he stepped between 2 tall bushes I squeezed off a round (139 GR Superformance) he dropped right where he was standing. Now the work begins, Dad heard the shot and he walked out to the stand and climbed up a bit to see where I was. we gutted the deer out but with no 4 wheeler we dragged a pretty big bodied deer 4 and a bit miles through soft warm wet ground in 20+ Degree Celsius temps, needless to say the beers at camp tasted Damn good.
