Team Hornady's Cheyanne Johnson is the Co-Founder of Veterans Sportsman Alliance. This photo was taken over the weekend of May 15th with our disabled American Hero during his VSA Sponsored Father & Son Hunt Palo Cedro CA.
A great time was had by all, here is the letter from 'J.S.' after the hunt.

I wanted to put my thoughts about this incredible experience that you and the entire Team at VSA have provided me and my son.
Since being injured in December of 2013 I had time to reflect on all the sacrifices that not only I have made but those of my family. I wanted to take the time to recover from losing my leg and try and reconnect with our great outdoors and with my family. Since I have met Brett and the team at VSA they have been like family. From the get go, I felt welcome and supported. I have had some bouts with depression and have thought about a lot of things in my life and whether or not it was worth going on, but having Brett and his family on my side and being able to look forward to something has given me something to live for. I call what I'm going through as the trifecta of heavies in my life. Losing my leg, having my wife leave me and ending my career in the Navy, some days I don’t know how I keep going but I do. The support and friendship I have from Brett and all the VSA team has helped me immensely in staying alive and moving forward. I look forward to helping VSA in any way I can, to give back and to help other injured service members experience our great outdoors. I never expected to be so honored by a group of great Americans all of whom I have never met. It chokes my up every time I think of all they have done for me. I am glad to be a part of the VSA family and look forward to more great adventures with Brett, Cheyanne and the entire VSA family.
