I love the 6.5 Creedmoor 143 gr ELD-X® Precision Hunter™! It is the total package when compared to other rounds for CXP2 and CXP3 animals, i.e. high sectional density, high ballistic coefficient, and a Hornady HITS rating worthy of taking large animals. In early October I was hunting hogs in western North Carolina and was impressed with the handiwork of the round on a 60 pound meat pig at 80 yards. However on a second outing in December a double lung shot at 100 yards on a 275 pound mature boar proved to be devastating. He ran about 75 yards before piling up on the side of the hill in the mountain valley I was hunting. Needless to say I was blown away! Thanks for a great hunting round!
