Wanted to get into PRS, but did not have a lot of cash to spend. Used LR-308 Gen 1 (shot out barrel). Stripped it out, new PRS stock, MOA grip, UTG forend, SLR gas system, LILJA heavy barrel and a lot of filing filing trueing and sweat, about 850.00 bucks total.

Ammo was the key to making it plausible and after trying all available, HORNADY came to the top. #81500, 6.5 Creedmoor, 140gr, ELD, Match. Right as rain, dependable as an August heat wave in Texas. Nothing else would make the grade, every shot, every day, every condition.
