Porcupine
By Gawie Pistorius

I shot this porcupine at approx 55 yards with my .223 Sako rifle using 53gr VMax handloads. The porcupine's vitals were hidden behind some tall grass. I took a shot through the grass and anchored the animal. A follow-up shot in the right spot ended the affair. Both bullets exited on the far side. Excellent performance from a varmint bullet!!
