My middle daughter Megan got the 2014 Arkansas hunting season off to a great start with a mature doe. Hunting on a friends property from a ground blind, she spotted a group of three deer, including this doe, in the wooded pasture in front of us at about 55 yards. Waiting patiently for the right shot, she took careful aim from a shooting rest and made a perfect broadside shot. The Custom Lite 243 ammunition did the trick, and we recovered the nicely mushroomed SST bullet in the doe's off shoulder. The doe went less than 10 yards. As with previous experiences with Hornady's fine Custom Lite line of ammunition, we could not be any more pleased with the accuracy and performance. Thanks for making such a fine product that allows recoil sensitive shooters to actually enjoy pulling the trigger rather than just endure it.
