I had about 15 minutes left in my hunting day and two doe came right my way. I drew up on a nice large doe and took my shot with a Winchester Model 70 in 270 and she didn't even take another step. This is the second deer that I've take with a Hornady 270 round both deer never took another step. My hunting buddy said that the shot was good but a little high and I was trying to figure out how that was. After I thought about it the deer was so close that the bullet was still traveling up when it hit her. She was only about ten yards away. Looking forward to some tasty venison this year. Thank you Hornady team for making such a great product.
