Having already harvested my buck I was out looking for a doe, I had this 130lbs dressed doe come up, I got a shot on her with my Marlin .338 with 220 gr FTX LeverEvolution ammo right at 60 yards and she dropped in her tracks.

I'm surprised this round doesn't have more of a following, this thing combines the best of both worlds, its big, its heavy, its fast, its relatively flat shooting, can shoot with open sights or scope.

This round is in my honest opinion one of the best all around hunting rounds available. Anything in North America can be ethically taken with this round. My only suggestion would be some more bullet options for loading.
