I had seen this 9 point buck several times in October. Finally, while my wife and I were getting packed up to go see the Grandchrildren, all of a sudden he came running through the back yard straight down in the woods about 130 yards from my tree stand! I went into my shop grabbed my 6.5 Creedmoore and put a Hornady A Max to work. Needless to say, he fell very fast . Best timing I could have had and we were not late for Thanksgiving Dinner! Now if I could just find some 17 Hornady Hornet Ammo for my New 25 Savage I'll be working on some coyotes.
