Opening morning found my son and I laying on a rock overhang, looking down on a group of mule deer. We waited and watched, and finally a decent buck showed himself. The 30.06 180 grain SST Superformance ammunition did its job, and he went down at 320 yards. For a 3x4 he was big, and is definitely the biggest bodied deer I've ever shot.
