Long Range/GMX

Cow elk season 2011 my wife and I both used the 120 GMX. I was shooting a Ruger 6.5-06 with a Shilen barrel. She was shooting a 6.5 Creedmoor. These bullets shoot around a half inch out of both of these guns consistently. I took my elk at 618yds with a high shoulder/spine hit and the bullet made a nice "canoe" in the spine dropping it in its tracks. My wife shot hers at 520yds. with the Creedmoor, and had complete pass-thru, the elk went 50yds. and piled up. These are great bullets! tough AND accurate!
