After sitting in the blind for about 10 hours and passing on several smaller bucks this one came out following a doe at 40 yards. He was walking behind some tall grass / brush and I only had one opportunity for a shot before he got into the thick pine trees. After I shot he booked straight towards me and dropped about 15 feet outside my hut.
