I took this buck on Oct. 21, 2012 in Northfork, Idaho at about 75 yards. Although he isn't a monster he was a big mature deer. 24 1/2 inch 4x5 and dressed out at 230lbs. The Second biggest body deer I've shot. I shoot a Ruger in 7mm REM Mag and use 162 gr SST. I also took a nice blonde colored black bear with this same set up last spring.
