Was out checking feeders on property saw a group of hogs 300 yards away in the creek. Walked down the cross fence to see if could get a shot on one of them. 2 sows with a group of piglets came running past thru some brush on a trail that I was watching a clear spot of about 100 yards away. My Sig 716 Patrol feed with Hornady .308 168g BTHP propelled by AR-Comp powder. Hit was perfect heart shot sow ran about 10 feet from location of shot. Very good blood from shot location.
