On November 2025 NH opening day, I decided to use the Rem with the SST. After an hour of a slow walk, I saw a doe on a fast trot. After taking a few side steps for a clear shot, I beaded behind the shoulder and let the SST go. It struck the doe in line of sight behind the rib cage, and the doe reacted to the hit (tail down and now a slow trot). I waited 15 minutes or so, and we found a big "Punch Out" and spots of blood that became pools. We later found her 45 yards from at her final rest. Based on her teeth, she was a 2 1/2 yrs old and 118 lbs dressed.
