I never thought I would take to Whitetail Deer Hunting,...or any Hunting at that. I thought what better of an experience to share with my son. So we set off on our first hunt together. I used a NEF 45-70 and Hornady LEVERevolution 45-70 GOVERNMENT 325 GR FTX Ammunition. Call it beginners luck but within 2 1/2 hours into the hunt I looked up to see a 9 point buck in view out about 70 yards. I took the shot hitting just below the shoulder. The Buck didn't even take one step, He drunkenly wobbled and fell over where he stood. Needless to say I'll have Hornady LEVERevolution Ammunition chambered anytime i'm in the woods from here on out.
