With only 4 years of experience as a shooter of any kind of gun and on her third year of deer hunting with me and my best friend my lady took her first deer at 48yds shooting Hornady BLACK 7.62x39 from a Ruger Mini-30. She placed a perfect shot and the deer went less than 15yds before it piled up. The exit wound is visible in this photo and the smile is even more evident!
