Handguning Whitetails with the XTP

My Fifth Whitetail from the Southern Black Hills area. All taken with a Smith and Wesson Performance Center 629 44 mag., Burris 2X7 Scope and projecting a Hornady 200 grain XTP. I used an Extinguisher Call sounding Doe Bleats and Rutting Grunts to bring within 60 yards. I had a quartering shot, it a little high but after a short 20 yard sprint was down.
The XTP did unbelievable internal damage. The year before I took a much larger 5 pointer at just under 50 yards using the same equipment, he went down just where he stood. I reload the Hornady 200 grain XTP with H110 pushing the XTP at 1700+ fps.
The 200 grain XTP is one the Best Whitetail Bullets ever. I am 69 years young and will be back at it again in 2018!!!
