Great field performance with the A‑Max

While it may not be advertised as a hunting bullet, the A-max certainly performs well in that capacity. After taking a lovely antelope buck in Nevada last year with my .243 Win rifle, I decided to go after a doe in Montana this year using a custom XP-100 specialty pistol chambered in .284 Win and loaded with 162 gr A-Max handloads. I was not disappointed. I took this doe at 262 yard and same great accuracy demonstrated on paper also showed up in the field: superb bullet, incredible accuracy and excellent results
