GMX in Zimbabwe

The Save Conservancy in Zimbabwe, December 2012. This 28 inch Blue Wildebeest was taken with one shot from 225 yards. I used a Weatherby Vanguard in 30-06 with a Weaver Grand Slam Scope. The bullet was a 165 grain Hornady GMX handloaded with 56 grains of H4350. The bullet went in the left shoulder and was found under the hide on the other shoulder. This same rifle/bullet combination was used in Montana to take a Whitetail doe and a Black Bear this year.
Accurate and deadly, what a marvelous bullet. Thank you Hornady for developing a mono metal bullet that doesn't foul barrels and really drops game.
