About a month ago I was at Cabela's Calgary. I needed to buy some ammo for my wife, she shoots a Savage Axis 270 Win. She has been shooting Fusion 130 gr but they didn't have what we wanted. The clerk suggested American Whitetail 130 gr they were on sale. I bought a box to try.

This Saturday, day 4 of rifle season we spotted a nice 8 point buck bedded down in a canola field. Were able to walk in to about 220 yds. My wife was set up on her shooting sticks and when he stood up, she hammered him, I knew it was a good hit, he did the whitetail back kick and started to run but was crashing with each step, he went about 40 yds then piled up.

With one shot she double lunged him through and through, we ranged it at 217 yds. I am impressed, lethal with minimal meat damage. I will be buying more American Whitetail Ammo.
