I have a Blaser R8 in 300 Win mag. I worked up reloads with the new ELD-X 200 grain bullets. I got my groups to group consistantly 1/2 @ 100 yards @ 2870 FPS.
I took this elk at 6:00pm. The guide esitmated about 700 lbs. Not the biggest but my first.

Nice even spread on the 6 X 6 rack.

2 shots first through the lungs and lodged on the opposit side the second on the move through the heart, also lodging on the opposit side totally destroying the heart. Expanded to about .50" and retained 77 gr and 98 gr each
