My 14 year old drew a Jr Doe hunt in the beautiful Kiabab Strip of N. AZ. Day before the hunt we got 8 inches of new snow, and for us desert dwellers that made for a fun hunt.

My son was using his accurate Thompson Center Venture in 243. And the Hornady ammo was the Custom Lite in 87grain SST.

My son had to make a quick off hand shot at a good doe at 70 yards. With a well placed shot the deer jumped and ran about 30 yards into some aspen and expired as soon as it hit the ground.

We use Hornady in almost all our rifles and handguns and trust it to always perform as designed.
