My Grandson's first buck hunt on the ranch I have been hunting on for over 25 years. He is 14 years old and scored 89 on the Hunters Safety Class with Grandpa attending with him for moral support. We glassed this buck fighting with another about the same age at 250 yards out. My grandson and my hunting partner with his son in law in tow got to 150 yards when from a rest position my grandson took the shot. The buck dropped dead clean on the trail he was standing on. I could ask for nothing more to end a perfect 1st hunt for all involved. I am a very proud grandpa and look forward to my next hunt with my new partner.
