First time letting my son hunt in a stand by himself, I heard a shot fired around 5:05 pm from his direction, at 5:10 I also fired a shot and harvested my first deer of the season. I left my deer to go and check on my son and their he stood at the entrance to the area I left him to hunt with his first deer of the season as well! So proud of him. Harvested his first deer by himself and pulled it out by himself. What a great day!
