Opening day I HAMMERED an 8 point buck with the Hornady American Whitetail .30-06 150 gr from my stand. I tagged him in the base of the neck, nice pass through with an exit wound the size of a golf ball. He just piled up, didn't even take one step. I ran the ballistics and estimate the bullet was doing 2,650 ft/sec and hit him with 2,350 ft lbs of pressure @ 90 yards.
