I've never been able to recover my bullet from a deer in the 11 years I've been loading them. This day was different. I made a clean shot and recovered my deer in the middle of the creek, water over my boot tops. Memorable, thankful for the meat, and the soaking of my feet. The bullet worked as advertised. Handloaded, 150 grain SST, .308 Winchester. Never has it failed me.
