I was fortunate to take a PAC cow elephant in Zimbabwe. The rifle was a CZ caliber 458 Lott with 500 grain Hornady DGS bullets. It was an exciting hunt with a few charges along the way. My elephant was at 22 steps when I shot and before she fell I noticed a tree limb on the other side of the cow fall. This was a side brain shot which the bullet went through the cow and dropped a 3 inch tree limb on the other side.
