Dads first elk

My son and I hunted Utah this September. At sunrise the first morning I hit a 6 x 6 with my Marlin 336c with Leupold VX-1 scope zeroed at 140 yds. The Hornady 35 rem FTX shredded the heart and both lungs then exited. Beautiful animal.
