Coyotes in Albany, Texas
By Will and Wyatt Harrell

My son Wyatt and I shot these two Coyotes in November of 2009 near Albany, Texas. I was using a mid-80's Remington Model 7 chambered in 6MM, and Wyatt was using his early 1960's Remington Model 600 Mowhawk chambered in .222 that originally belonged to former Texas Governor John Connally as a young man (still has his initials carved in the stock).
Wyatt was using Hornady's Varmit Express 40 grain V-MAX with the polymer tip and I was using the 95 grain Superformance SST (as always).
Both Coyotes went down swiftly at 150 yards, though I must admit he was using a 4x scope and I was using a 9x...young eyes I suppose. Thanks again Hornady.
