Coyote vs. .308 Win 165gr GMX Superformance

We went out coyote hunting here in North Texas on November 9, 2013. I took this yote at somewhere between 80-100 yards. We were hunting at night with a red light and calling them in.

The round hit him in the left shoulder as he stood facing us. We heard the "whomp" of the round hitting him and he dropped where he stood. The 165gr GMX did not exit, to my surprise, His shoulder and left leg was shattered and although we did skin him, we didn't gut him so I don't know what the round did to his internals, I'm assuming it wasn't pleasant.

The rifle is a Remington 700 ADL,with a 6-20x Tasco scope that, although was only $90, has helped me harvest a black bear and this coyote.

My only "complaint" about the ammo is that it is impossible to find in the current market. I did find some American Whitetail 150's that I'm looking forward to using.
