Carl is planning to go to Africa in a few days to hunt plains game. When he got his new custom built rifle he wanted to see what it could really do. He zeroed it at 100 meters with Hornady Match .308 155 gr A-Max. He then went to the long range and fired shots at 200, 300 and 400. He decided to give it a go at 500 meters figuring what to set for elevation from his ballistic program. He fired one shot at the deer target as seen in the photo. I'd say his rifle is working and absolutely loves the Hornady Match 155 gr A-Max. Later testing showed it likes the Hornady 150 gr InterBond equally as well - hand loaded for Africa.
