I have hunted for 35 years and I primarily hunt Mule Deer on the West Coast. I am currently working in Alabama and I had the opportunity to hunt Whitetail in Alabama. Naturally, visibility is limited compared to all the open country on the West Coast. Regardless, I was able to bag my first Whitetail Buck (7 Pointer) on opening day of the Rifle season. The Hornady 308 WIN, 165 Interlock BTSP dropped the Buck in his tracks at 100 yards.
