Just returned to Michigan from a boar hunt at Great Southern Outdoors in Alabama, What a hunt, I shot a free range black boar that the guide said was 275-300# and 3-3.5" cutters was shot at 100 yard across a pond with a Marlin 336 30-30 using Hornady 160gr. Lever evolutions, At the shot the boar hit the ground and then got back up it took 3 more shots all but 1 was in the front right shoulder and one in the right eye. None of the bullets exited. Boars are tough and the number of shots and the bullets not exiting is not the fault of the bullets but the toughness of these wonderful animals. Thank You Hornady for making a great bullet.
