Finally after 22 years of applying for a North Idaho Moose tag I drew one. I set my mind on a meat hunt. A nice rack is nice but tender meat is best. On the 5th day of the hunt I saw this bull and at 120 yds my 300 RUM and 208 gr. A-MAX dropped it where it stood. Lucky he was up hill above the trail we came in on.
He measured 32", but he was a trophy to me and 502 lbs of cut and wrapped meat. Next year my wife wants to put in so who knows what can happen.
