7 10 Buck

Got up opening morning excited to go to my stand. I was ready to get a big one. My uncle suggested I hunt out of his tower blind on willow creek. Since it was opening day I thought I would give it a try, as I was walking to the blind I saw a doe eating in the field, so I kneeled and waited till it passed so I could get in the blind. I got in the blind as the sun was rising. Even though I seen a deer in the field, I just knew it was going to be a hard hunt with the wind blowing as hard as it was. As I was sitting there I seen a silhouette of a buck down by the tree line that runs at the top of Willow Creek. I did a grunt call at him and he ran into the creek. I thought I blew it, But then here he was again coming up out of the creek to the tree line again. I grunted again and he starts running my way. I pull up my .270 Winchester that's loaded with Hornady American Whitetail bullets, scoped the buck and squeezed the trigger and down went the buck at 60 yards. So along story short I shot a buck that had 7 points on one side and 10 points on the other at 7:10 a.m. Opening morning so that's the reason for the name 7 10 Buck. Thanks to everyone at Johnboy Hunting Camp.
