I purchased a Browning X-Bolt Hell’s Canyon Long Range chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and topped it with a Leupold VX-5. After reading several disappointing reviews on this rifle I was hesitant to purchase. However, I could not resist. I chose the VX-5 because I often hunt in areas where we stalk and hunt, shooting outwards of 700+ yards. After shooting 5 different loads and different brands of ammo, the Hornady 143gr ELD-X proved to be the most accurate. I had the VX-5 custom dials to the specific ballistics of this round. I am shooting hole through hole at 100 yard indoor range, 6” groups at 1000 yards and I took a 200” trophy whitetail Thanksgiving 2017 in Texas at 680 yards. I will forever shoot ONLY Hornady!
