This 350in. bull Elk was shot in Broadmouth Canyon, Utah. He was grazing up the hill when I shot him as he quartered toward me. After relocating my shooting position four times to get on him I was finally able to get a rock-solid hold and squeeze the trigger. The shot was 265yds. downhill from a rocky ridge. I hit right behind the front leg and double lunged him. The Hornady 30-06 180gr. Interbond dropped the bull with perfect penetration and mushrooming. I would recommend these bullets to everyone... You can kill an Elk with a 30-06 it just takes good bullets and a good shot.
