Once again the Hornady 7MM 162 grain SST bullet in my 7Mag worked perfect. 36 clicks of elevation & 2.6 Min. of wind. At 515 Yds. the shot was a little off the mark, do to an error in aim on my part. But the terminal performance of the bullet made up for that. I will continue trying to find a load that my rifle likes using 162 grain ELDX bullets. But 2 Mule Deer Taken in the past with SST bullets. 6.5 cal & 270 cal at distances of 325 & 340 yds. Same results as far as bullet performance. Maybe I should leave well enough alone.
