Dropped this whitey and a smaller mule buck earlier in the season in 2015 with my remington 700 in 7mm08. Driving the 120gr vmax with 40 some odd grains of varget out of Hornady brass. Both deer were dead on impact and completely jellied their chest cavity after passing through a shoulder blade. No exit on either deer and similar expansion on both bullets. only weighed this bullet and it was under 50% weight retention but after butchering and eating both deer i am confident that all the weight lost was only in the chest cavity.
