1st Wyoming Antelope

After drawing a 1st Antelope tag and not being able to go till the last Saturday, October 29th, due to rifle being worked on and 3 weeks dealing with an infection on my trigger finger, Lady Luck was with me. Did a stalk to about 225 yards as he was getting some water from a previous heavy rain we had. One 6.5 PRC Precision Hunter 143 gr. did the trick. Really did a number on him, went about 30 yards. Tickled pink to get my 1st Lope and my first DIY European mount. Rifle is a Franchi Momentum Elite with a Leupold VX-5HD 4X20X52MM Illuminated Red Dot Duplex. Hornady Ammunition has always been my go to Ammunition. Pleased with the 6.5 PRC round also. Back up rifle for my Remington 7 mag dedicated Elk rifle.
