My 7 year old son has gone on several hunts with me in southern Indiana and this year was his first to tag along with his Rossi 44 magnum rifle and 225 grains of Hornady muscle in the pipe. Unfortunately on several occasions he was not able to get off a shot. His father and law ask him to go on a special hunt in an old army training grounds leased by his best friend. The first morning out toward lunch time a nice main frame 10 pointer came their way. My son was able to maintain his composure in the shooting house and busted that monster with a double lung shot. Greatest moment in this father's life thus far. No tracking was need and my son was elated along with his father in law.
