It was opening week of bear season in Western NC and I had taken off of school to go hunting. I always carry my 444 marlin hunting but had never killed a bear with it. Coyotes and deer yes but no bear. While bear hunting one day I ran up on about 15 hogs, I pulled up and shot the biggest one I could see, but since it was running I gut shot it. But thanks to Hornady, it didn't run 60 yard's. Later that same week I got my first bear, a good sized boar. Thank you Hornady for making a amazing bullet!!!
