Hi, i shot this young buck after 8pm, with my Marlin 1895M in 450 Marlin. The distance was about 70 feet. I used handloaded ammunition. ( LEVERevolution Case with a 300gr. HP bullet and your loading data, from your Handbook of Cartridge Reloading)

It was no instant kill, but a clean shot. He went about 40 feet into the brush.
