Where I grew up hunting was not really an option for me. So when I got to Texas I hurried-up and got my hunting license. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anyone to take me out for my first hunt. So that year I spent researching ammunitions for my rifle and tried a few different ones. The Hornady American Whitetail did the best. It easily held 1 moa at 100 yards.

This last weekend I finally got to go on my first deer hunt. It was fun. The ammunition did the job and I dropped a 7-pt buck at just under 100 yards. It was a clean shot got both lungs and the heart. This solidified my faith in the ammunition.

Thank you Hornady for being a part of me joining the great tradition of American hunters. Albiet a little late in life.
